Re-runs of 14 October 2026 (OWR-13677-003 package)
==================================================

All programs with a recorded output were run again from a copy of this folder, one process at a time, under
nice -n 10, with Python 3.13.5 (numpy 2.5.2, scipy 1.18.1), macOS, one laptop. Command for each program:
    cd <folder> && python -B -I <program>
The new output (standard output, or for the programs of verification_run_B the file they write into
rerun_out/) was compared with the recorded file.

./check_note.py                               exit=0  time=1s   identical to check_note_output.txt
original/check_pi_exact_d2.py                 exit=0  time=0s   identical to out_check_pi_exact_d2.txt
original/check_numeric.py                     exit=0  time=3s   identical to out_check_numeric.txt
verification_run_A/exact_d2_checks.py         exit=0  time=1s   identical to out_exact_d2_checks.txt
verification_run_A/numeric_extra_checks.py    exit=0  time=78s  identical to out_numeric_extra_checks.txt
verification_run_A/cantor_noise_check_d2.py   exit=0  time=52s  identical to out_cantor_noise_check_d2.txt
verification_run_B/run_d2_exact.py exit=0 time=1s identical to out_run_d2_exact.txt except the timing line
verification_run_B/run_d2_more.py exit=0 time=1s identical to out_run_d2_more.txt except the timing line
verification_run_B/crosscheck_d2_numeric.py   exit=0  time=3s   identical to out_crosscheck_d2_numeric.txt
verification_run_B/d2_smooth.py               exit=0  time=19s  identical to out_d2_smooth.txt
verification_run_B/d3_numeric.py              exit=0  time=22s  identical to out_d3_numeric.txt
verification_run_B/kim_vs_checkmin.py exit=0 time=2s identical to out_kim_vs_checkmin.txt except the timing line

The three differing lines are the last lines "== failures: 0 (time ... s)", which record running times:
  run_d2_exact.py     recorded 1.2 s, re-run 0.6 s
  run_d2_more.py      recorded 1.8 s, re-run 1.1 s
  kim_vs_checkmin.py  recorded 1.8 s, re-run 1.7 s
Every output reports 0 failures. Earlier, both verification runs had re-run the two programs of original/ from
copies and obtained outputs identical to the recorded ones.
